No-Bake, Easy, Healthy DIY Protein Bars

I must admit, I’m a fan of easy, convenient protein bars and shakes for on-the-go meals and snacks. I love them for an easy, healthy breakfast too. What I don’t love is all the unnecessary sugar and other ingredients that are found in most bars and shakes.

So often, when I read ingredients of protein bars, I think “I would love this bar, if it didn’t have this ingredient” or “This bar would be perfect if it had less sugar”. Have you ever felt that way?

That’s why, when I heard of a protein bar mix where I could control some of the added ingredients, I was totally sold. What a genius idea!!!

Creation Nation takes protein and energy bars to a whole new level. They make both vegan and paleo protein and energy bar mixes with super clean ingredients and no added sugar. You determine how sweet you want them.

Plus, they’re super easy to make. Simply combine the mix with your choice of nut butter or coconut oil, any type of sweetener you want (I don’t add any), mix together and place in the refrigerator. That’s it!

I have been loving these mixes for breakfast, snacks, and travel!

My personal favorite is the vegan protein mix. It contains pea protein, almonds, coconut, brazil nut powder, and cocoa powder. I like to add organic peanut butter and some essential oils.

Here’s my latest and greatest recipe with this awesome protein mix.

diy protein barsIngredients:

  • 1 bag of Vegan Protein Mix
  • ¾ cup water
  • ½ cup organic peanut butter (no sugar added)
  • 4 drops doTERRA wild orange essential oil


  1. Mix all ingredients in large bowl
  2. Spread in 9×9 glass baking dish
  3. Refrigerate for 30 minutes
  4. Cut into squares or bars
  5. Keep refrigerated for freshness
