Positive Affirmations for a Healthy, Happy Life

I wanted to send you a few words of encouragement and positivity this week. Nobody has a perfect life in which everything is fabulous all the time. We’re all dealing with something at any given point in time. But how you perceive your situation and how you react to your situation is what ultimately makes the difference between a positive or negative experience.

I’m a big fan of personal development, and it’s something I work on daily. My mind naturally tends to go in a negative direction, so I have to constantly be aware of my thoughts and reframing those thoughts with a positive mindset. I’m also careful with who I choose to hang around because negativity is extremely contagious. It’s much easier to pull someone down than build someone up.

I spend each morning in quiet reflection, reading the bible, or journaling. Then I like to read or listen to personal development books when I go walking or right before bed.

Most recently, I completed a course by Tiffany Peterson called Makeover Your Mindset, which was incredible. I’ve also been listening to Power Thoughts Devotionalby Joyce Meyer, which is so encouraging as well.

Both the course and the book emphasize the importance of daily affirmations. Writing things down and saying them aloud. When you verbally express positive affirmations, it can have a profound effect on your overall mindset and outlook on life.

Overtime, you’ll start to truly believe the positive things you’re telling yourself. Your thoughts and beliefs manifest as reality. So, rather than focusing on the negative, which will manifest more negative things in your life. Why not focus on the positive and experience more positive things in your life?

IMG_3420With all of this great information I’ve recently received, I’ve created a vision board with my daily affirmations in the middle. My intention is to keep a daily gratitude journal and read my affirmations daily. Beliefs = behaviors = results. As you improve your mindset, your behaviors will improve and you’ll experience better results.

I want to share these affirmations with you, so you can use them too in your life. It’s a combination of the daily core affirmations mentioned in the Makeover Your Mindset course along with some of the “power thoughts” provided in Joyce’s devotional.

I encourage you to print this off or create your own list and say them aloud daily. Remember, “the stories on the inside become the reality on the outside.” What is your story?
