I wanted to email you to thank you for your ideas. Sunday my husband grilled 8 chicken breasts for us to eat on this week. Having cooked chicken in the refrigerator allows me to prepare a grilled chicken salad with fresh, raw veggies and lettuce in 5 minutes.
Yesterday I cooked 2 lbs of breakfast sausage. Using my kitchen scale, I measured individual servings, put the cooked meat in sandwich zip lock bags and placed in the freezer. This morning I pulled out one bag, scrambled an egg and had breakfast in 5 minutes.
Now I’m boiling several eggs to put in the refrigerator to have for a snack or salad for a few days. I’m a natural planner and organizer so this comes easy for me. I just have to do it!
