Christmas is almost here, and you know it’s time to finish up your holiday shopping, but you just don’t know what to buy for those remaining people on your list. Now, I probably can’t help you with all of them, but for those on your list who are health-minded individuals, I’ve got you covered with 5 of my top holiday gifts.
First up: Essential Oils
Small in size, essential oils, make great stocking stuffers, but more importantly, they have huge health benefits. Each oil has its own benefits, but for some of the common oils like lavender, peppermint, frankincense, and lemon, the benefits include reduced discomfort and inflammation, improved digestion and circulation, less tension and stress, and a boost to the body’s immune system.
If you know me, then you know essential oils are a big part of my life and a big part of how I stay healthy. I also love to gift oils to those closest to me because I know just how powerful and beneficial they can be. And for me, giving someone better health is one of the best gifts I can ever give.
Second Holiday Gift Idea: Thrive Market
Have you ever heard of Thrive Market? If not, you definitely want to check it out. Thrive Market is a membership site that provides its member with the best health foods and natural products around. But what’s even better? When you become a member you get access to those foods and products at wholesale price.
With Thrive Market you can expect to receive about 25-50% off retail price, and for most Thrive members they make back their membership fee in savings within their first 2 orders. I order from Thrive Market every month and I save hundreds of dollars a year. They have so many wonderful, healthy products at deep discounts and free shipping!
Next up, something a little different, but oh, so important: Near Infrared Sauna
Toxins are everywhere—in processed foods, prescription drugs, building materials, cleaning products, cosmetic products—you name it. During our day-to-day routine we come in contact with a lot of harmful toxins. And these toxins can create a range of health problems for people—allergies, headaches, depression, lack of energy, digestive problems and irregularities, and even chronic diseases such as cancer. So it’s really important that we have ways to safely and easily detoxify our bodies.
One of the best ways is with a near infrared sauna. It allows you to sweat those toxins out, and in turn delivers a lot of health benefits, such as fewer infections and viruses, more energy and concentration, fewer headaches and digestive issues, and helps prevent chronic diseases.
This is definitely something you would likely gift to a loved one because it is a higher priced item. Ben and I got our near infrared pocket sauna earlier this year. We went to Paleo f(X) in Austin and came home with a sauna! We love our pocket sauna.
Fourth up: Instant Pot
Claimed to be one of the “best gifts ever” by Amazon reviewers, Instant Pot is an electric pressure cooker that speeds up traditional stove-top cooking by 2-6 times. It uses up to 70% less energy and has the capability to be a pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer, and a saute and yogurt maker.
I got one a few months ago and I love it! It offers a timer for delayed cooking, automatically keeps food warm until the food is served, makes little noise and is extremely durable. It’s the perfect gift for the health-conscious cook on your list, and it allows them to save time without sacrificing their nutrition!
And finally, our fifth holiday gift is the gift of: Dry Farm Wines
Dry Farm Wines is the only health-focused, organic wine club in the world, and it’s perfect for the health-minded wine connoisseur in your family. Dry Farm Wines are all natural, additive free and unlike today’s commercialized and processed wines, these are real wines. Nothing added, nothing removed.
All of their wine is tested to guarantee it has zero sugar, zero carbs, no added sulfites, mold free, and low alcohol. You can truly enjoy this wine without the hangover the next day.
You can select monthly or every other month delivery, choose all red, all white, or a mix and choose the number of bottles you’d like per delivery. Not only that, but you can cancel the subscription at any time. So you may want to gift a year’s supply to someone, but maybe for someone else, you only want to give them a month’s worth—either way it’s up to you.
Now, I’d love to know which of these 5 are your favorites and if you happen to gift one or all to someone, please let me know what they think of the gift(s)!
